QA guide and usefull links
The following guide explains in great detail how to perform all the tests for the sensor QA * Sensor QA guide by Eric Liu
For these tests you will also need to have access to the following files, which are used for book-keeping (and monitoring) purposes. To access the following files you will need to ask Eric to give you access
-
Dat files for sensor QA: this is the repository where all the measurements are stored
-
MC40 ITk QA Irradiation Log: this is the Local spreadsheed used to keep track of the deliveries/deadlines, and status of measured test chips, as well as the status of the used PCBs
-
Spreadsheet for sensor QA- ATLAS access
PCBs
Some of the PCBs we use for the testchips are near the end of their life, as there is little to no space to bond any more. Before moving to new PCBs we plan to exaust the use of the ones we have, but we need to keep track here...
- The PCBs should all have a number on the back of them (bottom left, roman numerals).
- Eric has made a tab in MC40 ITk QA Irradiation Log spreadsheet called "TC PCB Usage" on the Sheets - This tracks the "amount of uses" left.
- To determine the uses you can just look at them under the microscope, and approximate the size of the "bond spot" and gauge how more you can fit (going off the worst case)
always confirm with Simon if you are unsure
